The Law School Admissions Test ("LSAT") is a half-day standardized test prepared and administered around the world by the Law School Admission Council ("LSAC"). It is the test traditionally required for admission to American law schools.
The LSAC and STL have created the LSAT-STL as a specially adapted version of the LSAT that meets STL's particular requirements for applicants who are not native speakers of English.
Applicants to STL are expected to take either the traditional LSAT or the customized LSAT-STL, and scholarships are awarded based upon performance on those examinations.
The LSAC has asked the Institute for China-US Law & Policy Studies to register students to take the LSAT-STL. See last year'a letter from the LSAC here. A new letter will be uploaded shortly.
The LSAT-STL will be administered on February 12, 2012, in Beijing and Shanghai.
Applicants must register before the end of November 30, 2011.
The fee to take the test is US$130 (approximately RMB 900).
